Terms of Use

Effective date: July 26, 2026 · InvestQuest (investquest.io) is operated by GAB International LLC ("InvestQuest," "we," "us"). By using the site or app you agree to these terms.

The short version: InvestQuest is an educational game, not a financial service. Everything you trade here is pretend. Nothing here is investment advice. Parents are responsible for their family's accounts and approve everything involving kids — including rewards. Points aren't money. Advisors and brokers you reach through the site are independent companies, and some pay us fees, which we disclose. Be nice, don't break things.

1. Educational and entertainment purposes only — not advice

InvestQuest exists to teach investing concepts through play. We are not a broker-dealer, investment adviser, bank, or financial institution, and nothing on this site is investment, financial, legal, or tax advice or a recommendation to buy or sell any security. All trading in the app is simulated with virtual practice money; no real orders are placed and no real money is invested, gained, or lost. Market data and news are provided by third parties, may be delayed or inaccurate, are provided "as is," and must not be relied on for real trading decisions. Historical returns shown are approximate and past performance does not guarantee future results. Before making real investment decisions, consult a licensed professional.

2. Eligibility, accounts, and families

Family cloud accounts must be created by an adult (18+) — the "parent" of the account. You're responsible for your account, your password, your PIN, and everyone who uses your family's profiles.
Teens (13–17) may use the Academy through a profile a parent created for them, with their own PIN.
Children under 13 may use InvestQuest Jr. only through a profile their parent created and authorized. The parent is responsible for that use and can end it at any time.
Give us accurate information, keep your credentials safe, and tell us about any unauthorized use.

3. Rewards program

Stars and Quest Coins are game points with no cash value. They are not money, property, or a currency; they can't be sold, transferred, or exchanged outside the app.
Points are earned by learning activities only. Every redemption requires parent approval and is subject to availability, verification, quantity limits, and change.
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the rewards program (or any prize) at any time. Gaming the system — automation, multiple families, fake activity — voids points and may end your account.
Prizes that reference third-party brands (e.g., gift cards) are fulfilled through authorized resellers; those brands don't sponsor or endorse InvestQuest.

4. Advisor network and introductions

Advisors and firms listed in the InvestQuest network are independent third parties, matched to you by the state licensing they attest to. They pay us a subscription or per-introduction fee to participate — a conflict of interest you should weigh. We do not endorse, supervise, or guarantee any advisor, we are not a party to any relationship you form with one, and we receive no portion of fees you pay an advisor. Verify anyone you talk to at adviserinfo.sec.gov. Advisor content and introductions appear only on adult screens.

5. Affiliate links

Some outbound links on adult screens are referral/affiliate links; if you open an account or buy something through them, we may earn a commission at no additional cost to you. These are disclosed where they appear.

6. Acceptable use

Don't misuse the service: no unlawful use, no attempting to breach security or access others' accounts, no scraping or bulk-harvesting, no reverse engineering except where the law permits, no using the service to harass others, and no misrepresenting your age or a child's authorization.

7. Intellectual property

The InvestQuest name, design, lessons, narration, and code are owned by GAB International LLC or its licensors; we grant you a personal, non-transferable license to use the app for its intended purpose. Company names, tickers, and brands referenced in lessons and games (e.g., in the kids' Company Shop) are trademarks of their respective owners, used solely for educational identification — no affiliation, sponsorship, or endorsement is implied.

8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy of data, or uninterrupted availability. To the maximum extent permitted by law, GAB International LLC and its officers, employees, and partners will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the service — including any real-world financial decisions you make after using this educational game. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of $50 or the amount you paid us in the past 12 months. Some jurisdictions don't allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

9. Indemnification

You agree to defend and hold us harmless from claims arising out of your breach of these terms or misuse of the service.

10. Termination

You can stop using InvestQuest anytime and request account deletion (see the Privacy Policy). We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these terms. Sections that by their nature should survive (1, 7, 8, 9, 11) survive termination.

11. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which GAB International LLC is organized, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located there, and you consent to their jurisdiction. Please contact us first — most issues can be fixed with an email.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms; the effective date above will change and, for material changes, we'll notify the parent email on file. Continued use after changes means acceptance.
